A Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula is a compassionate and supportive guide who helps pet owners navigate the difficult process of saying goodbye to their beloved animal companions. Just as human end-of-life doulas provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support during the dying process, a companion animal end-of-life doula offers similar care for pets and their families. This specialized service can help pet owners make informed decisions about their pet's end-of-life care, provide comfort and reassurance during the grieving process, and ensure that both the pet and their human family receive the love and attention they deserve during this challenging time. By offering a holistic approach to end-of-life care for animals, as a companion animal end-of-life doula we can help create a peaceful and dignified transition for pets and their families.

According to the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, therapeutic massage on an animal may be performed by a non-veterinarian under general (i.e., indirect) supervision of a licensed veterinarian. A veterinary supervision form is required prior to an animal's first massage in order to be in compliance with Rule §573.14 of the Texas Administrative Code for the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
